How much is a tithe?

The percentage that defines the tithe is easy to determine in the Bible, because tithe means “tenth.” The tithe is 10 percent of your income (Genesis 28:22; Leviticus 27:32; Hebrews 7:2, 4).
More specifically, the tithe is the first 10 percent of your income—10 percent of your gross income. Proverbs 3:9-10 says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.” Tithes should be given from the first fruits—from your income before any expenses or other obligations are taken out—the gross, not the net. (Read also Deuteronomy 26.)
The tithe from your income belongs to God and it lays the foundation for your financial success and abundance.

Get Yourself Together Kenneth Copeland

Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Amos 3:3
When it comes to faith, a lot of believers feel like they have one foot nailed to the ground. No matter how hard they try, they just can't seem to make any progress.
If you'll watch them, you can see why. They literally haven't "gotten themselves together." One minute they'll be telling you, "Oh yes, amen, I believe the Word," and the next minute they'll be spouting unbelief like it's going out of style. "I know God says He'll prosper us, but I'll tell you what, my business is doing so badly, it's about to give me ulcers. I can't sleep at night for worrying."
Dig a little deeper and you may find out that they've pulled their actions out of line with the Word as well. "Well, you understand, brother, I can't possibly tithe with my income like it is. I'd go under!"
Faith just won't work for a person like that.
You see, you're a triune being. You are a spirit. You have a soul, which consists of your mind, will and emotions. And you live in a body. Each of those areas has a specific role to play in your faith walk. You have to get all three in agreement before you can go anywhere at all!
Start by feeding your spirit on the Word of God. Just like the body produces physical strength when you nourish it with food, the spirit produces spiritual strength when you nourish it with the Word. That spiritual strength is called faith. Develop that faith, and instead of your spirit being dominated by the other two areas, it will be the one in charge.
Next, bring your soul in line. Set your mind on "things above." Meditate on the Word until your thoughts begin to agree with it. Keep your attention on it until even your emotions yield.
Finally, bring your body in line. Once you truly get your spirit and soul established on the Word, that won't be hard. The body is a follower, not a leader. It will do whatever you train it to do. Begin teaching your body to act on the truth you've planted in your mind and spirit, and it will follow right along.
Don't try to walk in faith with your foot nailed to the ground. Get yourself together! Bring your spirit, soul and body in harmony—and the Word will take you as far as you want to go.

BEWARE OF MAJORITY!

Never be enticed or carried away by public views or majority stand.
To join the crowd is to get lost in and with the crowd. Always stand on what is right and not on what is popular. God boycotted the popular majority to bless the minority. Elisha with double portion of the anointing. God is never moved by the majority, but by a heart that greatly pants after him. 2 Chronicles.16.9, Isaiah.66.1-3
But why do people easily drift to the majority and popular side?
Fear of been different
Fear of been alone
Fear of been maligned
Disloyalty.
Insincerity.
Beware. If you bend you will blend and if you blend you will loose your identity. And if you loose your identity you will loose your uniqueness.

How do I receive my healing?

God has given us an amazing promise—if we pray according to His will, He will absolutely grant our request (1 John 5:14-15). The great news is that finding God’s will is not difficult because God’s Word and His will always agree. And His Word says by the stripes of Jesus you are healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24)!
Jesus told us how to act on God’s Word in John 15:7, “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” To abide in God’s Word means that you meditate (read, ponder and speak) on it and obey it (see Joshua 1:8). This aligns your thinking with God’s Word. Through this transformation, Romans 12:2 says you will prove “what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Get ready. You’re going to see some changes as you keep the Word of God in the forefront of your thinking. Your ability to hear clearly from the Spirit of God will increase. So will your faith in what the Bible says about your victory in Jesus. You will be able to take a firm stand of faith on what His Word says.
Now that you have taken a stand on the Word, believe that you receive those things you have prayed for (Mark 11:24). Your confession (speaking Scripture and speaking words of faith and hope in God instead of doubt and fear) and corresponding action (obeying what God tells you to do) will make all the difference (James 2:14-24). No matter how things look or how you may feel, choose to act and speak with the attitude that says, “God is in control and He is meeting my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19).
To provide help in building a biblically based stand of faith for healing, Brother Copeland has provided these five steps based on Hebrews 4:12-16.
FIVE STEPS FOR RECEIVING FROM GOD:
1. Present the Promises
A. Go to the Word of God and find the scriptures that fit your situation (Romans 10:17).
B. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the promises He desires you to apply (Romans 8:1-16).
2. Pray and Worship God
A. Humble yourself before the Lord (James 4:10).
B. Lay the promises before Him (1 John 5:15).
C. Hear His wisdom and the instruction of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13).
3. Make Your Petition
A. Write your petition out as your Word-based declaration of faith (Philippians 4:6).
B. Present it to the High Priest of your confession, Jesus (Hebrews 3:1).
4. Prepare to Receive
A. Let faith and patience work together in your life (James 1:3-4).
5. Praise God for the Manifestation of Victory
A. Let every request be accompanied by your thanksgiving to the Lord for His faithfulness to fulfill His promises (Philippians 4:6; 2 Corinthians 1:20).

Jesus Can Set Them Free Kenneth Copeland

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Matthew 10:7-8
There are those who've said that some of the diseases that are on the rampage right now, diseases such as AIDS, are God's way of punishing immoral people today. There is absolutely no scriptural basis for that!
God does not bring disease on the human race. In fact, if there's anyone in heaven and earth who hates it, it's Jesus. The devil is the one who's trying to tell us otherwise. He's promoting a lie, trying to get us to believe God is the One who's inflicting these diseases on people because he knows that if the victims believe that, it will drive them further from God than ever. And that's his aim.
It's time you and I as believers put a stop to that lie. Some time ago, the Lord spoke to my heart and told me so. He said, Reach out to those who are suffering. Let them know I didn't do this to them. Let them know I'm their Deliverer!
That word was not just for me, it was for the whole Body of Christ. We need to tell people who've been afflicted with AIDS or any such disease that Jesus is Lord over it. We need to tell them that God loves them dearly, and He has the desire and the power to heal them.
God is not responsible for the suffering we're seeing around us. That's just a nasty lie the devil is passing around. And if you and I do our job right, very soon another word is going to start spreading through the streets. The news is going to get out that Jesus Christ is not their captor, He's the One who can set them free!

6 Steps to Create an Atmosphere of Prayer

Spirit-led prayer is an important part of the believer’s life. It offers every Christian the opportunity to enter into the presence of God, talk to God, and hear the voice of the Holy Spirit inside of him. While prayer can—and should—happen anytime and anywhere—it can be especially effective when it occurs in a designated time and place. When attention is given to the atmosphere, prayer becomes that much more intentional. Here are six steps to create an atmosphere of prayer that will help you focus more keenly on your conversation with the Lord.

1.Remove Distractions
Find a quiet location, and inform your family that you are unavailable. Give yourself permission to have a quiet conversation with the Lord.

2.Get Comfortable
It’s hard to focus on the Lord when you’re uncomfortable either because of your clothing or position. Make sure you are relaxed, so you can focus on the Lord and what the Holy Spirit is revealing to you.

3.Begin With the Word
God’s Word is a great way to begin your prayer time. Reading the Word reminds you of God’s promises and all that He has done and spoken to His people over the ages.

4.Prepare Your Heart With Praise and Worship
Begin your prayer time with praise and worship. It’s an excellent way to get your mind off what is going on around you and help you focus on your time with Lord.

5.Listen to the Holy Spirit
What has the Holy Spirt spoken to you since your last time together? What is He speaking to you now? Allow yourself to be quiet so you can hear what He is speaking to your spirit.

6.Pray in the Spirit
Before you begin asking the Lord for what you want or bringing issues to His attention, spend time praying in the spirit. Give the Holy Spirit the opportunity to speak through you as you use your prayer language.

Matthew 6:6 says, “When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.” Setting aside a designated prayer time is a mighty discipline in the life of a believer. As you commit to do it, prepare the atmosphere with these six steps. Let this time be fulfilling, affirming and life-changing for you!

By Inheritance

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. (Heb. 1:1-4)
We cannot measure the vastness of the power and authority in the Name of Jesus without realizing that He inherited that Name from God the Creator.

Jesus is the brightness of God's glory.

Jesus is the express image of God's Person - the very outshining of God the Father. Jesus is the heir of all things. And Jesus inherited His Name. The greatness of His Name is inherited from His Father. So the power of His Name can only be measured by the power of God.

And every believer has inherited the legal right to use the Name of Jesus!

Confession: I know the Name of Jesus has within it the power and authority of the Creator! I know the power in the Name of Jesus can be measured only by the power of God. And I know I have a legal right to use that Name!
