Testimony -Divine Protection!

“Before now, I was a Muslim and I stayed in Cameroon until my uncle brought me to Nigeria to work with him. When I came, I began to interact with Christians.

In September 2015, I was invited to this Church and I gave my life to Christ. However, my uncle was not happy with me. So, he decided to kill me. During the Sallah Festival, my uncle called me to eat the food he had prepared for me. On getting there, I saw his daughter eating the food. Initially, I got angry and was about to beat the girl; but she suddenly began to vomit blood until she died. I, immediately, invited her father to witness what had happened.

When he came out of his bedroom, he carried a bowl of battery water and claimed that I poisoned his daughter’s food with it. Thereafter, the Ikeja police station was contacted and I was arrested. However, I believed that the God of this Commission would deliver me.

Surprisingly, my uncle’s wife came to the police station to confess that her husband poisoned the food, which her daughter accidentally ate, to kill me because of my newly found faith. That was how the God of this Commission delivered me. I give Him all the glory!” —Emmanuel Ibrahim Bello

15 Years clubbing, smoking & womanizing over!
I had been smoking for 15 years. I was going to night clubs and I used to
womanize.
I thank God for the Word of Faith Bible Institute (WOFBI). After my WOFBI
programme, I can’t even think of any of these vices anymore! Secondly
before now, I couldn’t pray for five minutes. Anytime I wanted to pray I
would just sleep off! Right now I can pray for hours without stopping –

14 years Marijuana Smoking Terminated!
I had been smoking marijuana for the past 14 years. During those times, I
couldn’t eat without smoking. It was long when I started feeling serious
pain in my stomach. Unless I smoke the pains won’t stop. A brother
ministered to me and I genuinely gave my life to Christ. Three weeks
after, the bishop said we should go for water baptism. Also he said we
should tell God to take away whatsoever we didn’t want in our lives. I
obeyed! Then I prayed and I told God that I wanted to stop smoking and
drinking alcohol. That was it since then. I stopped smoking and drinking
alcohol. Also, there is no more stomach pains! Now, I eat very well! I

Just when it seems all hope is lost; that there’s no way for that marriage to survive, that every formerly door to love now is closed and what your spouse has done now is unforgiveable, pause. Rethink. Is it really impossible for you to forgive and move on? (Note that this does not include cases where you believe your life is at risk.) Marriage they say is a union of two forgivers, not minding who forgives the most.
“It’s hard,” you may say; especially when the other party has really wronged you. However, it becomes easier when it is done on your knees. Yes, in prayers. Prayer has a way of melting and changing even the hardest of hearts because the Bible says the heart of a king is in God’s hands and He turns it where He pleases. Also, your husband or wife is not the “bad person” you have envisioned, but the culprit is the devil.
When you pray, you take authority over your marriage and tell the devil to get his hands off your family. Remember, as you resist the devil with authority, he flees. But there is a prerequisite to this though; it must be done with a heart of forgiveness and love. The Bible says if you bring a gift to the altar and remember an offence against your brother, go first to make amends.
That shows the place of forgiveness! That nagging, cruel or rude husband or wife can change to a loving, caring and peaceful spouse, if only you choose to forgive and present your case to God in prayers. Forgiveness makes your prayers effective and ensures prompt answers. So, before you completely shut that door, apply one more push and make it hard for the devil to crumble the walls of your marriage. You will not fail in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!
